Summer is my favorite time of year in Tyler, but I know it can also feel long when you are trying to keep kids entertained day after day.

That is exactly why my boys and I love getting out and exploring East Texas together.

Some days we run through splash pads, other days we cool off at the pool, go berry picking, spend time at the lake,

or escape the heat with a movie afternoon.
