Fall is one of my favorite times of year in Tyler and across East Texas. After a long summer, there is something so exciting about cooler days, changing leaves, pumpkin patches, festivals, and getting outside together as a family.

That is exactly why my boys and I love making the most of fall in East Texas. We head to pumpkin patches, explore fall festivals, wander through corn mazes, go on hayrides, pick apples, enjoy farmers markets, visit local farms, and find plenty of family-friendly Halloween activities along the way.

Over the years, I have started keeping track of the best fall activities, seasonal events, and family-friendly things to do in Tyler and throughout East Texas. Now I am bringing them all together to make planning your family’s fall adventures a little easier.

Below, you will find weekly East Texas fall guides filled with things to do with kids, seasonal festivals, pumpkin patches, Halloween events, outdoor activities, and simple ways to make memories together throughout the fall season.
